LoMus will be hosted at Felici & Conflenti, one of the major folk music festivals in Calabria. I will present Il Suono Ecologico on the top of Mount Reventino on Thursday 27 July, during the trekking Una Montagna di Suoni.
Why a trekking event at a music festival? What are the links between sound and walking? My presentation will introduce LoMus to the general public. It will discuss the close relationship between Calabrian sounding objects and ecology in a wonderful location that offers a breathtaking view of the Appennine and Sila mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea in the background. I cannot think of a more appropriate place for this presentation!
